"Save as" doesn't give standard window options Ubuntu 12.10

Asked by Pablo

When I use save as, I no longer get the standard window. Instead I get a stripped down window in which to locate the folder. (How can I send a screen shot to show you?) What to do? I am using Ubuntu 12.10

Hi Pablo,

In LibreOffice you have a choice of using LO's Open/Save dialogue boxes or the operating system's Open/Save dialogue boxes. I thing you are using LO's Open/Save dialogue boxes.

You can change to the operating system's Open/Save dialogue by going to

Tools > Options...

and then going to

LibreOffice > General

and under 'Open/Save dialogue boxes', unchecking 'Use LibreOffice dialogue boxes'.

Of course, all that will be in Spanish, for you!

Tony
