spellcheck in libreoffice won't work

I cannot get the spellchaeck to work, when I click tools - spellcheck I get a box saying spellcheck complete. am using Ubuntu 12.10

Try:

sudo apt-get install aspell aspell-en dictionaries-common enchant hunspell-en-us myspell-en-gb

Then close Libreoffice and rerun it

Sorry, didn't work, this is a screen shot of the box that appears when I
click on spell check, even when there are spelling errors.

Try closing all Libreoffice apps and run:

mv ~/.config/libreoffice ~/.config/libreoffice_old

Then rerun the app
