Quickstart menu Base

Asked by hans

I have set up a database in Base with several forms which the user needs to fill out. I would like to make a menu with clickable buttons / hyperlinks which refer to the various forms, so that from that quickstart menu the user can navigate around.
Also from the form a button is required to go back to the navigation menu

Does anyone ever made such a navigator form? If so, if you can give the template. I will be able to modify it.

regards
hans

Hi Hans

I seem to remember answering something similar quite a while ago. I think the answer is that the button needs to call a macro which invokes a form.

I will have a look to see if I saved the test document that did it.

Hi Hans

Here is the question I answered previously with this problem

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+question/177487

I did create a test document that demonstrates how to launch a macro from a button. Let me know if you want to see it.
