My LibreOffice version doesn't use the HUD, why?

Asked by William Pabon

The LibreOffice installation on my 12.04 LTS OS doesn't use HUD. The applications have the usual menu bar. How do I change this so that the menus are part of HUD? Thanks.

soory, and the output of:

lsb_release -a

it doesn't need sudo, nor did I add it so why did you add it?

Andrew:

sudo used out of habit. No harm done.

williepabon@williepabon-VGN-N130G:~$ lsb_release -a

Would like to consider another alternative (if available) for a solution. Reviews of the package indicate that it is too buggy. Something else I can do?
