Just double click the .ttf file in the File Browser - it should launch the program which installs fonts.

Note that the installation of fonts is not just a LibreOffice function. Fonts are installed system wide for all programs that need access to font sets.

Sorry, there is problem in internet from my side. please tell me where is the location of .ttf file . I search the .ttf through search of file, can't find. I can find the Times New Roman when I open the MS word document with Times New Roman . But there is no available option to select the Times New Roman.

It might be best for you to go to the Ubuntu Software Centre, search for ttf-mscorefonts-installer, and install that. You will need to accept the MS EULA. If you cannot, then tick the ttf-liberation add-on package, which is 'free' of restrictions.

You may have to reeboot to make the fonts available.

I suggest you run:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

You will install the fonts as well as some handy codecs and other goodies.

Can you help with this problem?
