Libreoffice install .deb

 I have downloaded the Libreoffice 3.5.1 for 32bit.
Now how to install it , as I am newbie in UBUNTU 11.10
tell me how to install the . deb files.

The output i get from terminal for

cd~/home/swargiary/Downloads/LibO_3.5.1rc2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US
bash: cd~/home/swargiary/Downloads/LibO_3.5.1rc2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US: No such file or directory

you need to download the archive and extract it.

in nautilus, click on the .tar.gz file that you downloaded. you should see a readme document. click on that and you'll get instructions on how to install libreoffice.

if you're using ubuntu 11.04 or 11.10, the file should have downloaded and installed automatically when you update the system.
