All the text in Libreoffice is grey, problem changing it to black.

Asked by Robert Allen

The upgrade to Mint 11 Katya came LibreOffice. I have not been successful in getting LibreOffice to display a document in black text. All other functions seem normal and there wee no problems with the upgrade. Ordinarily I've been able to locate a text customization function and seem to be having no luck locating this in LibreOffice.

What actionparsnip said. However, I have experienced the same problem with ubuntu and seeing that mint is based on ubuntu, this is relevant here, as a few other users said they have the same problem.

This may not be a libreoffice problem but something with the Linux/gnu kernel. I logged a bug back in November, but the person looking at the bug said there was nothing wrong and closed the bug as invalid. SUCH GALL! Lol

there is a cumbersome workaround. i select all the text when i'm finished with the document then change the colour to black. but i have to do this everytime i make an edit.

Can you help with this problem?
