Cant use Open office in Ubuntu 11.10 ?

I have Downloaded Open office for Ubuntu 11.10. I cant install it on Ubuntu11.10

For install it in Ubuntu 11.10 you must only do this:
1. Open a terminal by hitting CTRL + ALT + T
2. Insert and run this command:
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org

3. When the installation is complete, start it from the dash.

Note: on your system is installed by default a program called LibreOffice, you can also use that!

open office is outdated since being taken over by oracle then by apache.
you should use libreoffice, as enrico has stated.
