math objects inherit automatic font color

Asked by Fritz Heinrichmeyer on 2011-08-25

automatic font color controls presentation of text in libreoffice. Unfortunately it also determines the default color of math objects. If this color is i.e. "dark grey" black and white printers dither and small characters are therefore disturbed.

I found no gui for changing default math object colors. Maybe gui color theme should not influence document colors at all.

Regarding your comments:

+ "automatic font color controls presentation of text in libreoffice. Unfortunately it also determines the default color of math objects."

This is as designed.

+" If this color is i.e. "dark grey" black and white printers dither and small characters are therefore disturbed."

The print quality of your Math objects are dependent on your printer quality settings and capabilities.

+ "I found no gui for changing default math object colors."

The way to change the default color for Math objects is Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Appearance -> under General change the Font Color Color Setting drop down from Automatic to whatever color you desire.

Can you help with this problem?
