Updating from 10.4 to 11.4 (64bit) gave me Libre and no printing to HP PSC 500. It will print testpage but no docs from LO. What should I do?

I don't have any printing capabilities since upgrading my 64 bit from 10.4 to 11.4, and with it, LibreOffice replacing OpenOffice. I get a printer icon on the top bar, and my doc shows in the queue, but doesn't print. Oddly, when I ran the diagnostic, it printed a test page, but wouldn't print my doc from LibreOffice. Suggestions?

Hi Jim

Will it print anything else? For instance a document created by gedit (the text editor), or a PDF?

As it is in the queue it probably is not a LibreOffice problem. What shows is the status in the queue?

Grab the latest HPLIP from the HPLIP site and install it, may help
