Comment 29 for bug 734428

I'd like to add that I'm still affected by this bug in a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04. I will attach a screenshot, to show that it can be reproduced, and to illustrate the effect, which is not always immediately noticeable with some true black text for contrast.
