CUPS 1.6.2 got released on Monday and I have packaged it for Raring.

It seems that exactly this problem was addressed in this version of CUPS. See

So this should be fixed now in Raring. Please test by undoing the workaround from comment #33 and updating your Raring system so that you get the new CUPS. If this helps please mark the LibreOffice tasks invalid.
