i cant use my ipod touch newest gen with ios5 please help im not very good with this stuff

this error messege keeps occuring everytime i plug my ipod in : Unhandled Lockdown error (-15) ive googled it alot of times but i dont really know what im doing so someone please help

this is a known issue with iOS 5 based devices, see the bug report above. Some users are reporting that running the following commands in terminal may resolve your issue.

sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice-utils
idevicepair unpair && idevicepair pair

you can open terminal by pressing CTRL+ALT+T

please let me know if this works for you.
