Update libnmap-parser-perl to latest version?

Asked by Daniel Miller

Nmap::Parser is currently at 1.21, with new features and bugfixes. No new dependencies and no breaks with backwards-compatibility.

Current version can be found at http://search.cpan.org/~apersaud/Nmap-Parser/ or https://github.com/apersaud/Nmap-Parser

Should this have been a feature request? I want to get the package updated
to the current version. I'm willing to help in any way at all.

There is only a way to put a newer version in the current unstable-release (11.10). The Stable-Release (11.04) will never get a feature update in the repos for a package, just security updates.

i dont know the exact way how to generate a feature-request for the maintainers but i guess a bug is the correct way, so i will transform this question into a bug

Can you help with this problem?
