Have an old Ubuntu 13.10 server. Is there a way to use the s3put command explicitly forcing the request to be handled with TLS 1.2? Have TLS 1.2 successfully enabled on our server, but can't get the request to fire under 1.2. Apparently our server keeps doing s3put over TLS 1.1 but we want to force TLS 1.2.

I appreciate the replies here, but that's not really what I'm asking. I just need to know how to force the s3put command to be requesting as a TLS 1.2 request. It doesn't help our situation to make the S3 bucket only accept TLS 1.2 requests, because then it will just deny our requests. Amazon is already blocking S3 requests that aren't TLS 1.2. So I just need to know we can make our S3put command only take this action over the TLS 1.2 protocol. Again, our server *IS* TLS 1.2 compliant. So it's just that I don't know why S3put isn't trying to request over TLS 1.2.
