Is this package still actively being used?

Asked by Michael Healy

I am one of the maintainers of the Unity-for-Arch project. Libindicate is currently throwing a build error due to the current gtk-sharp-2 package in Arch. Removing the mono bindings resolves the build error, as well as downgrading gtk-sharp-2 to a previous package version. I have tried other resolutions, but I have not been able to solve the build issue. I noticed during a Google search that libindicate's job has been turned over to the indicator-messages package. With this in mind, I have tried going without both this package and libindicate-qt on my working Unity-for-Arch build, and so far I'm not seeing any issues. Are these packages needed for Unity to work properly?

Last update was last year. Maybe others can advise.

Are there any bugs reported?
