From an up-to-date Lucid machine:

apt-cache policy libimobiledevice0
libimobiledevice0:
  Installed: 0.9.7-1ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.9.7-1ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.9.7-1ubuntu1 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Unless this package gets a Feature Freeze Exception https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess then it will not be included - BUT I am under the impression that it "might" get one.
