Would like to access/read saved Outlook.msg file. Using Ubuntu 14.04. Downloaded libemail-outlook-message-perl but have no idea where it is, if it actually installed or how to make it work. Any optins for reading .msg files?

I think I can do that "migration". The problem is these old .msg files
are not stored in Windows/Outlook, but in a file folder I created in
Documents. I would assume I can transfer these to a computer running a
Windows OS (also with Outlook and Thunderbird), then proceed - and thus
back to Ubuntu with the Thunderbird extender. There are many .msg files
and most contain data - so it's not like accessing just a few. My fault
for not checking before I switched to Linux.
