Update to version 1.15?

Asked by Gjtunley

Hi,

Is there any chance this package can be bumped to version 1.15 which was released to CPAN on 4th April 2013 - nearly 4 years ago?

It adds support for databases with special characters in the database name, a feature I need for a project I am working on.

I suggest you report a bug. If the bug and security fixes are significant then the package will be updated sooner rather than later.

Ubuntu is not a rolling release so packages will get old if there is no good reason to update it.

It seems that also Debian is only on 1.14. So it would make sense to create a related bug report also in the Debian bug tracking system.

Can you help with this problem?
