libdbd-mariadb-perl package

libdbd-mariadb-perl was dropped in jammy, why?

I use mariadb-server and mysqlreport for that, depending on libdbd-mariadb-perl. That package was dropped from impish to jammy, so mysqlreport is not working any more. Why was the library package dropped?

As far as I can see from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdbd-mariadb-perl the package was not dropped, but it failed compiling on jammy.

I suggest that you create a bug report.
