CVE Report does not package list in Landscape

Asked by Thomas Wilson

We have landscape installed and we are using it to monitor CVEs however, the CVE information listed on the "Packages" page does not match the data on the "Reports" page. What I am seeing is that some CVEs are not on the report however, the CVE is listed under the "Packages" page and it shows that 8 systems are vulnerable. I generate the report by selecting all systems, going to the Report tab, clicking on "Report by CVE", and then clicking the Download as CSV button. I am using the report to try and locate the 8 vulnerable systems because I can't find a better/faster way to find the impacted systems especially when I have only a few out of my 100s of systems with a particular vulnerability.
