Why won't kxmame play my rom?

Asked by pr_evolution2

I'm trying to get kxmame to play one of my favorite arcade games of all time, Strikers 1945. I went to Settings>Directories and then went to the "Mame/Mess basic paths" tab, and added the location of the files from the Strikers 1945 archive to "MAME ROMS path". I double clicked on the game in the game list, and it wouldn't play it; I got this message instead.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

"added the location of the files"... actually, you need to put the .zip file itself in the MAME ROMS path. This file needs to be named as xmame expects it to be, and needs to contain the files it expects (as in the list you have above).

Can you help with this problem?
