I would like to change the size of the start menu in kubuntu 11.10

How can I change the size of the start menu in Kubuntu 11.10. If I change the resolution of my screen I will get larger fonts and icons. The problem with this that I will get less desktopspace and I still have to scroll through the different options. What I would like is change the size of the start menu so I don't have to scroll through the options in the normal start menu. Or change the size of the icons and fonts in the Classic kubuntu start menu.
