New to Ktorrent and a little concerned about speed, transfer and my bandwidth

Hello out there I'm new to Ktorrent and since I can't seem to open Ktorrenthelpcenter.org or find any thing remotely close to my query on Google or any other search engine , I was curious when I point to the Ktorrent icon on my toolbar the widow shows [speed: download 0 KB's upload 0 KB's, transfer: download 1.78 GB upload 2.8 MB] but I haven't used up any bandwidth sinse 7:00am. Should I be concerned and what is the transfer all about? I'm using the ktorrent scheduler and I have it set to start at 2:00AM and stop at 7:00 AM I think. It appears to be working It was running at 2:15am and it was stopped and or queued at 7:02. As far as any thing else like ports, IP addresses firewalls, ect.... I have no idea. I never messed with them. Any responses are appreciated. Thanks, Sid.
