kopete package

login to icq network failed

hi

since i updatet ubuntu to 6.10, kopete can't connect to the icq network. a message apears like "connection failed" after a few minutes if i try to connect.

sometimes a message apears, that my password from icq network is false. but it isn't.

with gaim or with the original icq-client on windows i can connect with the same password.

Hi.

This is a known problem. The fix will be included in the 6.10 updates.
In the meantime you can get the fixed package from: http://ubuntu.lnix.net/misc/kopete-fix/kopete-edgy/kopete_3.5.5+kopete0.12.3-0ubuntu3_i386.deb

Download, open the download directory with konqueror filemanager, right-click on the file -> Kubuntu package menu -> Install package.
