Version 0.6 in Natty (Ubuntu)

Asked by Ibrahim

Hi,
I saw that Komparator4 version 0.3 is setup to be included in Natty. However, a new version that might fix the random crash problems I've got with it is out. Version 0.6 (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=116039).

Is there anyway this version can be included in Natty?

Thanks.

Log a bug stating why it should be added and it may get included. You can always compile the source on that page you posted

Ok. I will try to post a bug if I reproduce the problem. The thing is that when I try to submit the bug automatically with the KDE bug submission dialogue, it says that the backtrace is not helpful.

I did compile the source code but I would rather have a deb file to install it.
I took a quick look around to find on how to create a deb file with this project (cmake) but did not find anything useful in the project's documentation or on the web. I look a little more later.

You can make deb files from compiled source using checkinstall.
