When will you update kodi to 18.4?

If you need version 18.04, then you can install it from https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Additional ínfo:
Ubuntu is taking over packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and Debian also has only version 17.6, see https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=kodi
First step to get 18.4 into Ubuntu must be a bug report in Debian's bug tracker that they upgrade their package. Ubuntu will then follow.

A bug report for Debian seems to be already there https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=926922 but kodi version 18 depends on another package (flatbuffers) which creates problems.
