searching wireless networks

Asked by Osman

Hi,

How do I see all available wireless networks? I used to use a search feature before, where is such an option in 7.04?

Many Thanks

There is supposed to be a little network icon up near the clock. When you right click it you can enable wireless. When enabled (and properly set up) you can left click it and it will show the available networks (excluding those with a hidden ESSID). If it's not there or not working you might check this thread:

I think the steps outlined there should help you get it working right. If not, or if I'm misunderstanding the problem, post back and we can go from there.

Can you help with this problem?
