Can't connect to hidden network

Asked by justgeig

I have tried many many time to connect to my router. It is a hidden network (SSID not broadcasted) and it just refuses to connect. I finally switched back to a visible network, connected, then switched it back to be hidden and now I can connect to it. Is this fixable for other people that come into my network wanting to connect? I don't want to go through all of that just to let them connect for a few minutes.
