Wireless lan doesn't work with gutsy only with feisty

Asked by avarnya

Hallo,

My wireless lan worked perfectly with kubuntu feisty. Sinds I changed to Kubuntu gutsy it doesn't work at all anymore. I have a Dell 510m and an Intel Pro 2100 3B mini PCI Adapter. It also doesn't show an eth1 anymore just the lo and eth0 when I do iwconfig. I read something about roaming wich is new in KNetworkmanager in gutsy but I couldn't find a possibility to change the mode to roaming. The Internet via the ethernet works perfect just the wireless doesn't.
Please help me someone I'm already trying to find this out for days.

Best whishes Ilka

P.S. if you need more informations about my system I can write them to you if you write me how to get them.

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo lspci

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Copy and paste the result here

Thank you
