kmymonel version 1.0 deb files

Is it possible to get a deb file for the latest version? I downloaded the tar files, but I gave up trying to compile the files: too many dependency errors that i can't resolve. I'm running ubuntu 9.04, and it won't compile. i can't figure out why. I suppose 9.10 will include the latest version, but i'd like it sooner. i'm finding annoying bugs in 0.9.
