Import csv file

Asked by Nestor

My bank allows exporting account movements in .csv files. Is there any way to import them to KMyMoney?

Thanks in advance.

I think you can use the ofx or aqbanking plugins to import the files, if you have them installed.

i too am having the same problem. kmymoney accepts the .csv file and asks to choose date format but after that fails import transactions. how do i install the said plugins?. 'import' menu shows ofx as an option but when given a .csv file gives an error saying format not correct.

Can you write to the developers list? The ofx format is a very loose and complicated one and it varies greatly from bank to bank. It would be best handled by the developers in charge of that plugin.
