upgrading to 9.04

I have presently ubuntu 8.10 as the operating system on my desk top. Will it possible for me to upgrade to 9.04 using the ship it cd from ubuntu? If so, pl let me know the steps involved in up gradation.

Upgrade ubuntu from 8.10 to 9.04 can be done only with the alternate CD
if you have the Alternate, put it and run this command on your console : $ gksudo /media/cdrom/cdromupgrade
And you can follow simple steps for your self. Plz keep us informed =)
