change date on multiple transactions

Asked by Earl Porter

I imported a QIF file and couldn't find a date format in the profile to match what the transactions had so I accepted the current date for all transactions. Is there a way to change the date on multiple transactions, i.e., a global change capability?

Try selecting the transactions, right-click, Edit, and then change the date.

I know that this works, but I can only select one transaction at a time. I want to select a whole range of transactions and change them all in one fell swoop.

You can select multiple transactions using Ctrl or Shift.

I thought I tried both Shift and Ctrl but only got the transaction thr pointer was on to be selected. At least it was the only one that changed color to dark blue.
I am considering this problem solved though and thank you for you for your support Hei Ku.
