Cannot Delete Loan Account

New to Linux and KmMymoney... Got all my accounts set up but messed up my auto loan... I would like to delete it but, the app wont let me....Would someone give me step by step instructions....

You probably still have the schedule setup for that loan. Remove that schedule and any transactions that are linked to that loan account. Then you should be able to delete the account.

No schedules are set up for this loan....

when I click on the loan to reconcile, the program shuts down completely

Why are you reconciling?
Do you have any transactions for that account?
The account cannot have any transactions to be enabled for delete.
