Order of transactions

Asked by Mihai Chezan

When I add more transactions in one day the ordering of transactions for that day is done by amount. I would like it to be done by natural order of entering them.
So now if I add two transactions like this (in this order):

Withdrawal, Pay to XXX, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 300
Withdrawal, Pay to YYY, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 20
Withdrawal, Pay to ZZZ, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 50

the result is shown like this:
Withdrawal, Pay to YYY, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 20
Withdrawal, Pay to ZZZ, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 50
Withdrawal, Pay to XXX, Category Food, Date 2008-07-26, Amount 300

I would like the result to be shown in the order that I entered the transactions. Is there a way to do it, to have it work like this?

(using transaction number is not nice and if I use 1..9 all is ok, but then if I use 10 is not ordered after 9, like the ordering is done over strings and not over numbers)

I am not sure if this option is in 0.8.x version, but there is a setting to do it.
Go to Configure KMyMoney -> Ledger -> Order
There you have several columns to set the column order. Entry order is the one you are after.

I have the 0.8.8 version and there is no such option.
But if you say there is such option in newer version then I consider this solved. Thank you.
