Insert a new CD-R/RW anf than do:

:~$ /usr/lib/nautilus-cd-burner/list_cddrives

after post the result. Thanks

Please provide the output of:
1) "ls -l /dev/sg*"

When I paste the fix in terminal, message come back Command not found 4:57 am

This is no fix, it's just a command.

Did you really copy and paste the command? Please try it again:

1) ls -l /dev/sg*
2) ls -l /dev/sc*

When I pasted the first command this is what I got

0 crw-rw---- 1 root root 21, 0 2007-05-10 07:52 /dev/sg0.

Still unable to use cd. Please advise...

Markus, This is what comes back when I paste the second command,
ls: /dev/sc*: No such file or directory
