thinkpad 11e 3rd touchpad works fine on bionic proposed kernel linux-image-4.15.0-1029-oem.
i2c-i801 is loaded.
touchpad is detected as s3203_ver5.

Could you try this kernel with i2c_i801 unblacklisted?
