i cannot connect my nokia 3230 phone using data cable CA-70

What SW do you can use ? I tested Wammu and via BT i save backup of Contact and SMS and cable is similar.

If You plug in cable to USB port. Use this command. And send some output.

tail -f /var/log/message

If is this cable support in Linux kernel drivers. On message is some result.

command line output is;
tail: cannot open `/var/log/message' for reading: No such file or directory
tail: no files remaining
masani@ubuntu:~$
