connecting nokia phone to the system

Asked by Harikrishnan C

I am using a nokia 2730 classic mobile phone. I was trying to connect it to the system via usb. Following were the configuration details i gave:
Under device,
Mobile phone device:/dev/ttyACM0
text encoding:GSM
port speed:115200
init string:AT S7=45 S0=0 V1 X4 &c1 E0

additional init string:

Under mobile phone,
Phone type:Nokia(generic)
Dialing Options:ATD dial system

other options were same as default.
But my phone didn't connect properly. When i started the program, i got an error message like:
"An error occurred while initializing mobile phone device.
Check your configuration and try again."
somebody please help me out!! I am new to linux!!

Shows 2 commands to run:

wvdialconf
wvdial

You could contact the author too for more details as they have clearly achieved the same goal
