kile 2.1 beta 4 auto-complete does not work in Ubuntu 11.04

Asked by michael o'sullivan

While testing kile 2.1 beta 4 in both Kubuntu and Ubuntu 64bit 11.04, I have found auto-complete to be non-functional (i.e. the dropdown list of suggestions no longer appears when you type more than three letters of latex code). I'm not sure if this is a bug in kile, or a problem with a supporting KDE 4.6 library.

I have compiled 2.1 beta 5 and autocomplete works. 2.1 beta 4, however, is the version in the repositories.

b5 is in oneiric now, I'll try to get it into natty-backports.

Yes, please put it in natty! The present version is really not very usable.
