kile in ubuntu 10.04

Hi, I am trying to install kile on my ubuntu 10.04 machine... its saying that it needs to download around 680 MB and the size on the disk is going to be 1418 MB .... is kile such a huge/bloated software... the size seems outrageously huge for any latex software....

Please try on gnome desktop environment lyx
kile need to load also huge kde parts...

even lyx is asking for a 750 MB space... this is weird...
