looks like the ubuntu build of kig does not have support for python scripting

Asked by cynic

I have the latest version of kig installed on 12.04. Python scripting support should be available thru Objects-> Other. However, it is not available. I have communicated with the kig developers who have confirmed this. It looks like the boost libraries were not in place during the build (searched thru the build log from here)

https://launchpadlibrarian.net/108542763/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386.kig_4%3A4.8.4-0ubuntu0.1_BUILDING.txt.gz

Is there a kig binary that has support for python scripting for 12.04?

Thanks
