kicad ubuntu10.04 3D Problems

Asked by Susanne Ströbele on 2013-03-06

Hello together,

I have a little question.
I use a Ubuntu 10.04 (Gnome)

And my KiCad Version is:
Build: (20090216-final)
wxWidgets 2.8.10 Unicode
on 32 Bits GNU/Linux
KiCad on the web

I have following Problem:
I would like make my one circuit board. In the Internet i have found follow tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bFZpkhfEZc&feature=youtube_gdata_player
It looks very easy, but the Problem is, I would like a 3D View from my circuit board
I have found a page, where you can download a kicad Project to test the situation:
http://www.instructables.com/id/A-credit-card-sized-Ethernet-Arduino-compatable-co/step7/KiCad-Files/

could anybody tell me, where is my Problem? why does´t make a 3D view?

Lucid is EOL next month. After which it will get zero updates and zero support. You can upgrade straight to Precise as it is LTS to LTS

Can you help with this problem?
