keep still runs hourly after upgrade to gutsy version

keep was affected by bug http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129840 in version 0.3.0. This bug is resolved in version 0.4.0, which is included in ubuntu since feisty. But on my gutsy-system (upgraded from feisty from edgy) it still runs every hour, even after a reinstall.

From what is written in the original kde bug report I guess that this has to do with internal states (timestamps) of the repository. What is the recommended way to get keep to behave in the way it is expected to work? Do I need to delete the old repo or is there a way to keep it?
