kubuntu 8.10 Quanta reports Cervisia plugin not installed

Asked by midijery

kubuntu 8.10 Quanta reports Cervisia plugin not installed and I have installed it already then reinstalled 2 more times.
It seems to be looking for the kde 3.5 version instead of KDE version 4.0. I'm running it on a AMD-64 System withan ASUS M2A-VM mother board. 4 Gigabytes of memory installed.

Sounds like the same thing, I ran locate to see if file mentioned (libcervisiapart.la) is in my system but only found libcervisiapart.so so I still have the problem. Where do I find libcervisiapart.la and where do I put it if it is found ?
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Jerry
