[KDE-4 - KatePart]syntaxic coloration setting for *.ged files

Binary package hint: kate-kde4

I have developped a syntaxic coloration setting for *.ged files that work for KDE-3 but does not for KDE-4 though I have dumped this file in the directory "/usr/local/share/apps/katepart/syntax" but it is not seen by Kate in "Other" category as is for Kate KDE-3 and of course applied successfully in the latter case ; is there any change between Kate KDE-4 and Kate KDE-3 in the way to access syntaxic coloration settings as provided by *.xml files ?

This is really a question rather than a bug report.

You will have to store the file in /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps/katepart/syntax, if this doesn't work either, you might either investigate yourself whether something changed or get in touch with the Kate developers... which is probably a good idea since they might be interessted to include your file :)
