Akregator: hidden menu bar, invisible articles

Asked by Jussarian on 2010-05-08

Hi
I think Akregator is great, but I've done a couple of stupid things and I don't know how to get back to the good ol' Akregator I love.
Simplest problem first:
While trying to fix the other problem, I selected to hide the menu bar and now I would like to get it back. How do I do that please?
Harder problem:
None of the articles appear inside the individual feeds now. They're there, because I can scroll through them if I click inside the article list pane, but I can't see them - it's like the letter colour has been switched to white, but I am sure that is not what has happened. I can see all articles if I click on the All Feeds, but I don't find that very practical. What happened is, first, I right-clicked inside the article list pane, selected something and the order I had everything in went out. So I tried to fix that by right-clicking again and selecting something (I can't remember what, sorry - I'd had a few drinks before I got home...) and then everything went blank. Now when I right click in the article list pane the only option that is not greyed out is Copy Link Address.
If I could at least get the menu bar back, then I could export my feed list, un-install and re-install Akregator and start again.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Bonehead
