Kdenlive Handbook under help

Asked by paydaydaddy

I just downloaded Kdenlive and ran it for the first time. I looked under "help" and clicked on "Kdenlive Handbook". I get the message, "Could not launch KDE Help Center"/"Could not find KDE Help Center". Is this because I am using Ubuntu not Kubuntu? Are there "help files" that can be downloaded? A manual to refer to would be very helpful in learning what this program can or cannot do and how to accomplish an objective.
What prompted me to try this in the first place is that I am trying to convert >MOV files into something more generic (mpeg4?). At this point I am unable to determine if Kdenlive has such capability. Any help is appreciated.

I have been running into the same problem and it did not solve my question, sorry. How do you get the handbook to function on 7.10 ubuntu (not kubuntu)?

Bonjour World,

Father christmass bought me a very nice video camera: Sony HDR-SR
It makes nice pictures and Audio AC-3 surround 5,1 48000 448kbps sound.
Kdenlive likes the video but can not hear the sound but Totem can.
i am new to Ubuntu and kdenlive but zindows realy upset me.
