Yahoo Webcam wont open

I have installed jasper after that error. Now when I open a contact in yahoo and click on start webcam, nothing happens. No new windows open or anything. No error dialoges either.

Did Yahoo! contact and webcam work before? Or has it never worked?

How, what app do you use, to get your Yahoo! contacts?

Do you believe Jasper has caused your problems? Would you consider removing it?

Have you tried Gyachi from thw PPA at https://launchpad.net/~loell/+archive/ppa ?

My webcam does work with Cheese. I installed Kopete and it told me to install Jasper to use the webcam feature. After I installed jasper, the webcam window will not open up at all for any contacts. I would rather like to find out how to fix Kopete than install a new program. I do not get any errors now, simply nothing happens.

I can not remove Japser, when I do that, I get an error when I try to start my webcam saying that jasper is required.

You better report this bug on gyachi.sourceforge.net because it is not directly related to Ubuntu.
